With the trailers popping up everywhere for the second Netflix installment of To All the Boys I’ve Loved Before ( coming February) I couldnt resist the opportunity to remind myself of the story in P.S. I Still Love You before I watch the film. Obviously then I had to read Always and Forever, Lara Jean to get to the end of the trilogy.
I loved the books the first time, (and the netflix fim) and second time around I was still rooting for Lara Jean to amke the right choices. There were aspects I had forgotten, and now I think I visualise the characters different as they ve been personified on screen. I do struggle with Margot as tyhe character was in Pretty Little Liars for so long its hard to see her as someone else in my imagination.
In brief the books continue the Lara Jeana and Peter love story. Its a will they wont they, adding in hurdles for them to overcome. I think its a lovely romantics teen saga, which no doubt I will pick up again next year when the third film hopefully is released!
