The full title of this book is Monsters the passion and loss that created frankenstein.
The idea behind the book appealed to me. The story of Mary Shelley and her creation of the ultimate monster.
It’s intriguing and feels like a must read book, even as I type these words I want to read more. The problem is I just can’t get into it. I m 60 pages in, and there’s around another 400 to go. I know if I stick it out it must get better. How could it not with that story line. I just can’t.
I just can’t quite connect to the characters and I seem to be finding pretty much anything else to do rather than continue to read it. I ve been like that for the past 5 days. So. I’m sorry but this ones being put into my reading coma pile. It’s not got the DNR sticker but I think it’s about mood and frame of mind. And I’m just not there.
The cover does look pretty tho!
