I am beyond excited, this book is amazing, and I’m so grateful to the wonderful PR people at B A Paris’ publishing company for giving me the opportunity to take part in the blog tour for this book. Do you ever get that feeling sometimes when you really enjoy a book, and before you’ve even got to the end want to tell everyone to put it on their TBR pile, now! because its just so engrossingly good? That was me with Bring Me Back

Thanks to Harper Collins for this digital birthday gift – along with Netgalley; I honestly can’t think of a better way to have spent my birthday than with this story on my kindle and a glass (or two!) of Malbec.
I enjoy a book so much more when I don’t work out the ‘big’ twist, I think I figured it out as the characters did which hopefully speaks to the brilliant writing more than me missing the subtle signs.
Warning: Contains Spoilers
I’ll admit I was tempted to restart the book after the 2nd chapter as I’m sure I missed something that makes it more obvious that we are following the story from Finns perspective – but I shook myself out of it and stopped the focus on whether I was reading as a male or female character and just enjoyed the story as it unfolded.
All through the story I didn’t know who to trust, or where the next twist would come from or take me.
The jump from then to now is a brilliant way to set the story up to cast the initial suspicion on Finn, but is his new bride to be as innocent as she seems or who she says she is? She does get on rather well with his best friend.
What about the landlady at his local – what does she really know? Who is she working with? and more importantly why was no body ever found?
What happened that night in France to his original girlfriend, Layla why did he lie to the police and more importantly if she comes back how will she feel about being the sister-in-law? This book is made for Book Club Groups to get their teeth into!
Perfection!
The Official Description is short but perfectly sums up the book way better than I ever could:
The Disappearance
Twelve years ago Finn’s girlfriend disappeared. The Suspicion
He told the police the truth about that night.
Just not quite the whole truth. The Fear
Now Finn has moved on.
But his past won’t stay buried…
The book is out on 8 March 2018 and (still) available at the bargain pre-order price of £1.99 from Amazon here -> Bring me back
And – if you haven’t already read the other books by B A Paris try The Breakdown and Behind Closed Doors both are equally bookish heaven.
