We start with Amber, learning that she wants more, and will do anything to get it. Setting her sights on Jackson because hes rich and good looking. Befriending his wife is the way in, stopping at nothing to get what she wants.
The story switches from Amber’s narrati

ve to Daphne’s in part 2 of the book and we travel back in history to the early days of their marriage – and we find out what being Mrs Parrish is really like.
