I picked up this book after watching the last four episode of Gilmore Girls – A Year in the Life. Its a show I really enjoyed watching and I had seen some rave reviews about this book.
Lauren Graham is known for playing Lorelai Gilmore on Gilmore Girls (and Sarah Braverman on Parenthood too apparently, but I’ve never watched it). This for me felt like a collection of stories that would be something people would bring up in conversation. I caught myself on more than one occasion skimming rather than reading, which is a shame – If your a fan of Lauren’s you’d probably be giving this 5 stars, but for me it lacked a little structure and the amusing parts where overshadowed by blabber.
