Discover the Charm of Paisley Hope’s Riding the High

Returning to the world of Paisley Hope’s “Riding the High” feels like reuniting with old friends. The characters are so familiar, it’s as if we’ve never left their side. This latest installment brings back all the charm, warmth, and excitement that we get from small town lives and Im glad this installment was all about Ginger.

Straight away it all feels familiar, in a good way. Comfortable and with characters where you just want thinks to work out well for. Cole, Mable and Ginger make a perfect trio to follow through life and enjoy the way they approach some challenges – even Mable is a good example to us all on how to deal with things.

Cole as the OG F**kboy finally acknowledging and owning his feels feels more modern man that what we’re used to, and his selflessness makes him even more attractive – without Ginger even knowing it. When the whole group take a trip to Vegas everything changes – and its chaotic enough to really match the personalities we’ve come to expect from Ginger and Cole – Id have been disappointed if it went differently!

The plot is engaging and filled with twists that keep you thinking will they wont they even though you know its end game for them; Yet, it’s the moments of quiet reflection and heartfelt interactions, the brutal honesty of their thoughts and fears that truly shine. The relationships between the characters are beautifully developed, making you root for their happiness and success.

I am dying to know how much is in Mables College fund though – We see all the money go in but never know how much is in there. Trival thought but the time we spend ‘watching’ someone put money in the jar makes me feel like i have a right to know!

In summary, “Riding the High” is a delightful read that will leave you with a smile on your face and a warm feeling in your heart. It’s a reminder of why we fall in love with books and the characters within them. If you’re a fan of the series, this latest entry will not disappoint.
